22/08/2011 - Dragintra has introduced the Fleet Insurance Scan. This is the ideal way to analyse and benchmark the insurances of your car fleet. What is Dragintra's objective in doing this? Insurance premiums take up about 15% of the lease rate that is paid. It is therefore essential to manage this well, especially as these will soon take up an even larger part of the lease costs.
On 16 August 2011, Automotive-online wrote the following: "Car premiums are on the rise, and not by enough according to DNB". As a fleet owner or fleet manager, are you aware of the consequences of this for the insurance premiums, and therefore for your lease rates? Is it known how your car fleet is insured, how the premium is calculated and whether this fits seamlessly with your damage picture?
Studies carried out by Dragintra show that a large number of fleet owners and fleet managers are not sufficiently familiar with the way in which their car insurances are arranged and how these are calculated into the lease rates. Furthermore, due to a lack of information and know-how, they are not always able to negotiate the best possible premiums and conditions with leasing companies and insurers. In order to be able to manage costs properly and to work as effectively and efficiently as possible, it is of great benefit to have your current insurance conditions and premium costs objectively analysed and benchmarked. Many fleet owners and fleet managers work with several leasing companies, which all place their own insurance policies with different insurers under different terms. It is important to align all of these to your needs.
Dragintra launched the "Fleet Insurance Scan" in September 2011. This scan provides the fleet owner and fleet manager with the insight that is necessary in order to be able to make the correct choices regarding the most suitable type of insurance for the company. A thorough analysis will provide you with information regarding the best terms, premiums and insurance arrangements that are available in the market.
The Dragintra Fleet Insurance Scan provides you with a full understanding of the insurance position in question, where the various terms differ, whether these correspond to your requirements, and whether the premium to be paid is competitive with what is offered in the market.
